I am recently separated from a very long-term relationship, which took most of my energy. Now that I am single I want to get back into the community and help with events, fundraisers, etc.

I am a DJ. I was co-chair of GLBTSA at Humboldt State University in '99, when it was still called GLBTSA [now it's the Queer Student Union]—in fact my co-chair and I had the "T" added. I was on the first North Coast GLBT community board and helped open the GLBT Center in Eureka. In the past I have been involved with the North Coast Pride Festival as well.

I mountain bike, hike, hang out in the woods and on the beach, and would love to get a young women's adventure-seeking group together. I just started playing poker.

I look forward to the Camp Betty experience and hope it is the first in many to come.
