In May 2004, Aria was an Honors Graduate of UC
Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Sociology. It was this same year that
she began working on her first CD with Imerge Records, which features
three singles: "At What Expense," the CD single, and two
bonus tracks, "Broken Wings" and "Make Me Stay." |

As a singer/songwriter, it was important to Aria to develop her own style. Her classical training taught her about the importance of using live instruments as well as allowing her to control her voice and use it as an instrument in order to show her passion and creativity. Aria's R&B upbringing also allowed her to take that genre of music and intertwine it with Classical in order to get the sound she has today, a twist of R&B, Pop and Soul.
