WORKSHOP LEADERS Shoshanna Raybin is passionate about working with young women and girls. She loves to delve into issues such as media, body image, self-love and sisterhood. Shoshanna is presently involved with Girls Incorporated® of the Redwood Coast, a non-profit organization dedicated to "inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold." She is happy to call Arcata, CA home, and is thrilled to be a part of the first annual Camp Betty Campout. Tina Throm is a woman/activist/ bookworm/goddess-knows-what
with an inner beauty that will leave you breathless. Currently she
is the Assistant Director for the North Star Quest Camp, a camp
for adolescent girls to discover who they are and who they want
to be. She lives in Arcata, CA and "wants to be a witch"
when she grows up. |

Workshop: Beautiful is a Feeling> In our society, girls and women are bombarded with messages about physical perfection. When faced with impossible standards, we sometimes forget how special and beautiful each one of us is. This workshop will focus on appreciating the beauty inside each of us. Through visualization, a creative activity, and discussion, participants will explore different ways to recognize and celebrate their own unique beauty.
