Even though God-Des is openly gay, her creativity, wit, skill, humor, and sound attract far more then just a gay fan-base. She has an amazing ability to connect with a diverse group of people through her lyrics, stories, experiences and catchy tunes. Bringing back the raw blues reminiscent of Janis
Joplin combined with the organic soul of Aretha Franklin, Tina G
brings both melody and soul to the music—adding a layer rarely
heard in Hip Hop today. At a time when originality and creativity
are harder and harder to find, GOD-DES stands apart from the ever
so monotonous "bling bling" and "booty." Their
most recent album "Reality" was released in 2004. You
can see them in two documentaries, "Pick up the Mic,"
