Classic country artist Kitty Rose has just released her greatest hits CD simply entitled “Kitty Rose Greatest Hits,” but a simple story it definitely is not. Kitty has been performing her own brand of original classic country over the past several years side-by-side with covers from the likes of Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn.

Kitty is the country reincarnation of singer/ songwriter Katharine Chase, a familiar name among California music lovers. Katharine has performed throughout the State, opening for such notable artists as Hootie & The Blowfish, Aaron Tippen, Elliott Smith, Mary Lou Lord, Exene Cervanka, The Blasters, Chuck Prophet, Red Meat, 4 Non Blondes, Amanda Marshall, Third Eye Blind and Penelope Houston.

Two years ago, Kitty moved into a log cabin in the small rural community of Hopland, California, and between riding her horses, herding cattle and other ranch chores, she’s spent the past year putting together this special CD of classic originals. With the help of producer Woody Simmons, who is also one of the top banjo performers in the country, her CD is already garnering raves from radio and press around the country.

Kitty will perform at Camp Betty Campout with band members Woody Simmons, Stephanie Lee & Robin Roth.
