WORKSHOP LEADERS Miriam Coates received her BA at Humboldt State
University in intracultural psychology, an interdisciplinary combination
of Psychology, Ethnic Studies, Media and Performance Arts, and Native
American Studies. She has worked for over seven years in schools
with special needs children. Miriam has also completed rape crisis
training. She currently attends College of the Redwoods and is studying
to become a registered nurse. |

Workshop: Decorate Yourself: Love Your Beautiful Body How do you feel about your body? How would you like to feel about your body? How would you dress your body up to express this? This workshop gives you the space to create a positive body image you can wear—in private, in public, or just to hang on the wall as a reminder. Participants will decorate t-shirts with art/craft images and/or words that express positive feelings about their bodies. All ages are welcome. Bring a t-shirt to decorate! |
